The people on the sideline.
Our coaches are what make UC Football more than just a club. From premiership-level analysis to making sure the social squad knows which end they're kicking, they show up week after week.
Eighty years of football.
UC Football was established in 1945 as the football club for the University of Canterbury. We've grown from a handful of student teams to over 1000 members today, representing Canterbury and Lincoln Universities across every level of Christchurch football.
Many alumni have gone on to play professionally, secure US college scholarships, represent the Canterbury Pride, and even the Football Ferns. But the heart of the club has always been the same — students who just want to play.
Where we play.
Home is Ilam Fields, but our teams play across Christchurch on Mainland Football grounds.
